Hi there, I just got 2 rabbit snails in the mail.. I took them out of the box, and the water was VERY warm, almost as warm as you'd run a bath for yourself. I thought they'd be dead for sure, and did a pretty stupid thing.. I threw them straight into my tank, in a panic just in case they're still alive.. so, they went from SUPER warm, to about 77 degrees..
I noticed one of them opened just a little, then the other did it too.. they have not come out and crawled around, just opened and closed a few times.
I took them out of the tank and put them in some tank water in a small container by the window where sun is coming in, just to get the water temperature a little higher for them, will move them when the water heats a bit.
Can anyone give me advice? I don't know what to do now.
Thanks
