Well I am the proud new owner of a 11.33 gallon, High Clarity Low Iron, Glass Cube. Dimensions: 13.78" x 13.78" x 13.78". It was shipped with a 1/16" mat under it. During shipping about 1/8" of the mat was crimped at the edge.

I'm pretty sure that the crease along the edge will even out with constant pressure on it. I'm concerned about 2 spots near the edge where less than an inch long patches have become compressed to about 1/2 of their original size. If I use this mat, do you think that these small patches could compromise the tank in any way?
