Using SmartStart Complete

Has anyone used this product in their aquariums. StartSmart Complete. Was thinking of getting it and using it weekly. My Ehiem 2234 filter gets a lot of debris in it and I thought this might help reduce some of it. I do have MTS in my tank. So would using this remove stuff out of the substrate thus reducing their food.

Have not used it, but here is my take on a bacterial supplement that you have to keep adding:

It does not work that way in nature. The colonies of microorganisms keep on reproducing, and do not need to be replenished. So why do the manufacturers say to keep adding stuff out of a bottle?
So they can sell more bottles!
