light doses of h2o2 in current has proved successful in my case.

 

how much to dose h2o2 ? and can we use it directly on the moss out of the tank with a sprayer ?

 

i tried that route but it ended up being on there too long and too concentrated, and totally browned out and killed my poor java moss. with my flame moss i just left it alone and eventually the moss grew out and just took over where the algae used to be, i can't even see it in the mat anymore.
