The tank is about a month old now. I've been adding Tropica Master grow, Excel, Iron and some potassium every other day. The tanks is a 5 gallon fluval spec.
it's cycled and I'm just waiting to add some rummy nose tetras. The Bacopa have doubled in size and the Echinodorus tenellus are starting to grow as well. No Co2 yet as I have to get a bottle and will probably go with the paintball tank route.

Lights are LED and on for 14 hours.

Suggestions why all of a sudden the leave are turning yellow? Iron deficiency?

Thanks.

Some people report success keeping HC with just Excel. Most report utter failure without pressurized CO2. DIY might be a workable option.

Your ferts look pretty good, though you're probably way overdoing it with the iron.

I though the master grow would be fine. I guess I could add some. which do you recommend?

Tropica Grow Master is advertised as having no nitrates and no phosphates, actually.

You may want to consider adding both macronutrients.

I would use dry fertilizers, since they are the most economically viable option.

All you need is potassium nitrate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate.

Local hydroponics stores (and some users online such as myself) sell them.
