I recently rescaped my nano, and now that everything is replanted my hairgrass is yellowing significantly. I didn't have the plants out of water for more than 30 minutes. Same water as before the scape, same co2, a little more lighting. Did I dry them out?

Were they dry when you put them back in? Did they wilt at all? Is all of the hairgrass yellowing or just some of it?

Usually when I'm replanting I keep the plants in water or under wet paper towels, keeps them from drying out.

I rolled em up in a wet paper towel while I was redoing the substrate, and then just unrolled it after I was ready to replant. Pretty much all of it is yellowing. It's giving off oxygen so I guess it's doing alright, some small growth as well.

If you have a lot planted, you might try pulling a few strands up and seeing if the crown is dead or putting out new roots/shoots. Also post pics if you can...
