I went through countless pages of posts including "XP1" and "10G" and i am still not certain.
I have a 10G medium light planted tank with a whisper HOB. I used to just have a 1 betta in there so there wasn't much need for extreme filtration/ flow.
The betta passed on and i added a school of neons and shrimp (and because of them some foam in the HOB intake pipe) and it seems i could have a little more flow in the tank.
The petsmart 46.99 deal on an XP1 seems great - but is it something i should do or should i just get an $15 AC20 etc instead for additional flow ? (i don't inject CO2 so that's not an issue)

First of all, why are you needing the additional flow due to newly added neons? I think that is a lot of filtration for a 10 gallon but then again your tank will be very clean for sure. Regards, jC.
