These are too small for a 1/2 inch hose? e.g., hose from an Eheim 2213 - believe that needs a 13mm?

Yes, these use 3/8" hose, worked well on my 2211, but I upgraded to a 2213 which uses 1/2" hose.

i have a 2211 but I noticed that the inflow tubing is bigger than the outflow tubing. Would both ends of the tubing fit onto this one sized set? Also, I was wondering if you would be willing to sell just the pipes because I already have a diffuser and drop checker. Thanks for the info

No they won't fit, the inflow is 1/2" and the outflow is 3/8". But you can use the double tap connectors as a reducer on the inlet side, just use half of the 1/2" set and half of the 3/8" set which is what I did.
