I'd like to buy one or all of the following plants:

Rotala Macranda (anybody grow this in hard water?)
Barclaya Longifolia
Cryptocoryne Beckettii
Alternanthera Reineckii

or any other red plants that you might have, thanks!

someone is selling Alt Reineckii on ebay 2.99 SHIPPED for 5+ plants. Sounds too good to be true, but I just ordered 2. Thought you might want to know. Search Alt Reineckii not Alternanthera Reineckii only 5 left there were 30 last night. gl!

at that price he does not use heat packs or guarantee live arrival,
so I would wait a Month or two before ordering from him, unless
you buy a lot of plants there and pay extra for an active heat pack.

otter; just an observation. you have pretty high tech tanks and
you are asking for colored plants that will grow large leaf in them.
you might want to consider smaller red plants with finer leaves.

actually, quoting from the auction: "We replace all DOA(Dead on Arrival) free, a clear picture will be require as PROOF. Send all images and dispute to [email protected]. GUARANTEE EXPIRE WITHIN 5 DAYS UPON RECEIPT."

Not impeccable grammar, but good enough guarantee for me for a $3 auction.

I've never had any of these plants so I appreciate the info. Is the large leaf a concern because of shading, or? Can you recommend some fine leaf red plants? Thanks!

The previous poster was correct; Aquadise does not use heat packs. I ordered 3 plants from him, which came in two boxes. The Java moss seemed ok. The dwarf hairgrass was about half brown, but I'm still hoping it will make it; growth hasn't been too encouraging. The third plant was advertised as an aquatic, and the picture made it look blue ... but really, it was green non-aquatic mondo grass, so be careful.

Well, I just ordered several plants and offered to pay extra for a heat pack, so we'll see what happens. It wouldn't be as big a loss as the $60 worth of bron mushy HC that I ordered from another seller.... that was disappointing.
