Hi all,

I'm looking to buy some relatively easy (i.e. no super high light, ridiculously hard to grow plants). I want to spice up the color on my tank without getting anything that I just can't grow.

Feel free to suggest anything. 55G tank, lit by 1x T5HO 2" above top of tank, pressurized CO2.

I have some rotala R. Under my lighting, 3 19 watt clf's over a 30 gallon tank w glass top< i get nice red/pink on the top 1/3 of the plant. I really like how it fades from green to be honest, but I'm sure it would all be red under more light. PM me if your interested we can work out a deal

If you are talking about Rotala rotundifolia, I've got some already and it doesn't turn red at all for me. Under my lighting, Limnophila aromatica, Ludwigia repens, and Rotala rotundifolia all stay 100% green for me, even less than 12 inches from the light.

idex: does alteranthea reineckii stay red in lower light? I presume no.
