You might want to head down to Winn Tropical, I got one of those new Fluval lights from them. I think it was $38.00? Nice price!

Odyssea makes a 14" fixture with expandable legs for $30...youd just need to swap out the bulb its 24watt.

Yeah that is the fixture, you would need to swap the bulb out for something in the 6000-10,000K spectrum which is best for viewing and plant growth. That 50/50 bulb is more of a marine bulb. I am using that fixture on my new 5.5G pico reef and it is doing very well. So it would IMO be great fixture for growing most plants with a proper spectrum bulb of course.

My anubias went into a little shock when going to this light but my HC, watersprite, java fern and crypt benefited nicely.

I use below on my 5.5g, it have moonlight LED and use regular CFL bulb.

Thats the one I got from aquatraders delivered the other day.
Nice lamp with less price. Ive been thru a lot of online store but this is the cheapest so far.

Im looking for 6700k to replace the 50/50 lamp that comes with it.
AHsupply has it for around $20 shipped.

Try aquatraders. They have the cheapest light fixture available for 5.5g.
