I had some Hygro Red, I would have to look around to see if I have any left, that plant grew very very large, to large for any of my tanks, the leaves would get 8" or so long, very girthy.
I pulled it from my tank and tossed in a tub out back last year or the year before can't remember.
Would be a nice plant for a very large tank, was a slow grower too.

HYGROPHILA SP. 'RED'
sounds awesome but
I never saw it in SnS.
Let me know who you
get it from so I can
bug them next Month :icon_wink
I might know a guy who still has it. ;)

Like Craig said though, it's a slow grower. Bug me in a month sounds about right.

thanks, but maybe i'll pass till i get a bigger tank.
(not many 24" wide tanks on NY craigslist of late)
i had to remove crypts from my overcrowded 29g
so i probably won't have room for 8" long leaves,
but it's nice to know someone here has them :proud:

That's certainly understandable. That's why I only keep a couple stems going at once. It's in my collector tank and it is quite large.
