Title says it all. This is the plant that Amano uses frequently. From what I have been reading there appears to be a few different color forms. I am looking for the form that turns reddish under high light. Charley has some but he is unsure if it will turn red.

There's only one form that I know of. It needs strong light to turn red, but that's about it.

Aaron, I have read several posts where people have indicated that they have tenellus that stays green. Perhaps they don't have enough light. If there is only one form, that eases my worries.

I have managed to procure some of this plant from Ghazanfar and he does confirm his shows the reddish color in his tank.

I just got some from Ghazanfar and it's super nice! really nice red/bronze color just like in Amano's tanks!

Regular tennelus definitely stays green. The 'micro' is different. Ghazanfar is a good guy. You'll be really happy with the plants you get.

I can't say I have ever been disappointed with Gazanfar's plants....
