I'm starting a brand new planted tank and I need....plants!! I'm really new at this so if any of these plants are really hard to keep, let me know. The tank is 50 gallons and all I have in there so far is java fern and rotala rotundifolia. I'd like some stem plants, but I don't know what will look good. So, in addition to what I have chosen, please let me know if you have anything that you think would look good as a background plant. Thanks!!

For the crypts, I'd like either petchii or becketti.

Update: Still no plants!! I've revised the list--hopefully that will help. Here's what I'd like:

Crypts: preferably beckettii, but petchii and wendtii work too.
Anubias: nana or petite
Needle leaf or narrow leaf java fern
A carpet plant: HC would be good, but I'm flexible.
Blyxa and/or Downoi
