Hehehe. Your right this is cheap for the wattage your getting, but why on earth you would need 85,000 lumens?? Plus the 2000 kelvin rating is going to be super yellow. It would also cost a lot of money to fire up that 600 watt bulb. Compare it to the 39W 48" finney ray ii, which I'd guess puts out around 4,000 lumens, this is over 20X that. I'll bet it can grow the socks off plants if it doesn't melt them, but that is just too much to be functional as an aesthetically pleasing aquarium light.

Great! Since I was actually looking to light my aquarium plants on fire, I'll be purchasing this post haste!
