I am dosing using the EI method;
20-40 Gallon Aquariums
+/- ¼ tsp KN03 3x a week
+/- 1/16 tsp KH2P04 3x a week
+/- 1/16 tsp (5ml) Trace Elements 3x a week
50% weekly water change
However I have noticed on testing the day after that my nitrate comes out at or near nil. Raymond mentioned on another thread that wisteria is a real hog when it comes to potassium & nitrate and I have a fair amount of growing in my tank. Am I correct in thinking using a higher dose of KNO3 will compensate, or thinning down the wisteria?http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/images/icons/icon11.gif

I thought that was you...glad you are seeing if this will be co-signed before adding
any and you might ask for a suggestion on how much more...
Have found near the same results in one of my tanks just today. Hardly any Orange
in the test water...like perhaps a 5 on that test card level. But instead of using 1/4
tsp of KNO3 that is suggested for my sized tank, I was using 1/16 tsp K2SO4 and 1/8
tsp KNO3 due to low plant mass and wanting to keep down on ntrates but did too good of a job of it.
