I'm a little confused on 0-10v dimming... will this cheap-o one work for a BML fixture?

I have a timer to control on/off, but i want to be able to dim. I like this one because its cheap, and has an IR remote, so i could control it from my Crestron system... but I want to make sure that it will work. Thanks!

Don't think so.. but can't tell w/out a wiring diagram..

now that said it is possible to find the 0-10V circuit and tap off that to the driver (Inventronics)

That driver can be dimmed w a simple potentiometer as well. Has an internal 10v "source"..

Welcome to use 0-10v signal dimmer, this simmer is AC85-250 input, and output AC85-250V and 0-10v analog dimming signal.

you'd hook the 10v out from the box to 10v in and ground.. 10v out (on the driver) is ignored. At least that is how I remember it.. Inventronics seems to be 'off line" currently but did some BML driver digging in the past.
BML still exists and it is a simple question for them to answer..

Damn, I think you're right about using the POT and internal 10V... FYI, I did ask BML and they confirmed this dimmer would work, but it's good to know that it could be done with a simple POT too, thanks
