I am planning on getting rid of my 29 gallon biocube and going smaller. I do not have that good of experience with nano tanks ,although I have a 14 gallon biocube. I was wondering if this would be a good setup?

-Mr.Aqua 7.5 gallon tank
-Tom aquarium rapids mini canister hang on the tank c-80, 80gph(will this be to strong for a 7 gallon?)
-2 fluval mini 13w compact lamps

I will be dossing flourish comprehensive once a week and will have no co2. I will stock amano shrimp 2 gouramis and 6 small schooling fish. Will a higher bioload make me not need diy co2. is this a good setup?

bio load has nothing to do with co2 more so ferts but still depends on your lighting intensity as it will play your major roll in co2 then water agitation ext ext.

I think actually it does give the plants more available carbon, at least according to Diana Walstad...
