Thai Micro Crabs are smaller than the end of a pencil eraser. They're essentially incapable of consuming anything that isn't a tiny particle. So they're definitely not going to harm shrimp or plants.
They're really a species that needs their own dedicated tank with no other inhabitants other than a couple snails. That's how tiny and delicate they are. They'll also do best in a low-tech tank without a bunch of fertilizer being regularly added. Minimal at most.
