I am redoing my 90 gallon I have changed the wood. and removed a 5 gallon bucket of plants. I have a gazillion MTS the substrate is seething with them.:icon_eek: I want to plant hairgrass what do you think the chances are the snails will uproot it? I am waiting for the water to clear now so I didn't want to start picking them out, not that it would be hard to find them.

I will tell you today yes they will just make sure you plant it deep. I just ripped my whole hairgrass carpet up today cause they kept uprooting spots and I wanted to fix it more.

Plant it deep and when you get a nice lawn effect going take some of your substrate and put it on top so it holds it down more as well. I tried putting substrate on top on my right side of my 55 gallon when I had my full carpet and it was alot tougher and grew better then my left side so now im doing it for both side when I it grows back now..
