I have had them keep the baby pond snails under control, but the adult pond snails kept on breeding. The mouths of those fish just do not seem large enough to really attack the adult snails. I think it would be a good idea to see if they will do the job on your little snails.
Will dwarf botias (ambastaia sidthimunki) eat snall snails?

Hi have an annoying small snail infestation. These snails never get bigger than 2mm in size. I used to fish them out with my net, but they keep on reproducing. I'm thinking of getting a dwarf botias because they are a wonderful looking fish but also for their snail eating ability. Will botias eat snails this small? I always thought the snail had to be big enough for the botias to stab the flesh inside the shell. These snails seem to have very tiny openings (maybe only 1mm in size at the *most*.
