Hi,
I have a shrimp tank set up to receive some CRS that I ordered, but the vendor made a mistake and shipped the CRS a week earlier than had been specified.
The CRS tank is still reading .25 PPM ammonia, so I couldn't put them in it.
I have the params of the (future) CRS tank set to:
TDS 155
GH 5
KH 1
PH 6.4
Temp 68 (chilled to this temp consistently)
(side question, would love to know what you guys think of these params, because there seems to be some debate about optimal params)
Anyway--main point is, these CRS arrived early, so I had to put them somewhere, so I put them in my 40 gal breeder which has various cherries in it. The params of that tank are:
TDS 220
GH 5-6
KH3
PH 6.8
Temp 74
Will they survive until their real home has finished cycling?
