I'd like to set up a chunk of wood into an overhang in my 29 gallon. I'd like to attach some type of aquatic plant to the top and sides of it that will drape or at least look like it's draping (I don't want it to end up looking like a chia pet with "hair" sticking straight up). Will bolbitis do this? If not any suggestions?

Edited to add it's a low-light tank, and the wood will be about 3/4 of the way up so I assume some of whatever I attach will end up out of the water. That's not a problem.

I would think weeping noss would be yoru best draping' effect . you could use bolvitis, IF' you placed it just right you could get the effect yoru going for, it just tends to grpw straight out, so you would have to turn the rhisomes and tie' the way you want it to grow out . HTH ~

Thanks. That's exactly the type of info I was looking for regarding bolbitis. I think weeping moss will be my best bet then.

Yes, bolbitis will give you a chia pet.
