Well I am considering the aqua medic 1000 reactor I do not feel like DIY atm. I still haven't purchased a regulator I am between a aquatek brass dual gage and a up aqua a 165. I do not want the 7up effect from inline diffusers so I guess there out. My question is will the reactor fit the 2217 hosing? Should I put it before or after my hydor? Any recommendation between these two regulators? Would a 500 reactor be better for a 25 gallon. Would the 1000 be too much?
