I'm the same way. A few of my tanks are almost entirely filled with plants that I've collected near where I live. I have a ten gallon that I use to test out new plants to see if they'll grow submerged. Check out the 7.5 gallon in my sig, it started out with nothing but stems that I found growing in a ditch near a local park.
Here is my tank except for 2 amazon swords(which i may have found replacemnts for today) these are all collected from the Allegheny River in northwest PA. There is Vallisneria americana, Ludwigia palustris, Sagittaria cuneata(just converted to sumersed strap leave growth and is filling in great making runners all over) Eloecharis arcula, Potamogeton perfoliatus, and hornwort...just collected Saurus cernuus plantlets with small rhizomes and some as yet unidentified plants...they look like Echinodorus cordifolius but that doesnt grow here, so its either a sagittaria that doesnt grow arrowhead leaves, or some type of Alisma sp.
