So I tested my Ph the other day and it turns out that I have a PH of 5....And when its in the morning, without CO2, its 5.5
I think I've posted this before but never solved the problem.
So what can cause a low Ph? This tank has been up and running for the past year. Its the 95G in my sig.

It could be a faulty pH test kit. And, it could be from lots of tannins in the water, but that is awfully low for being caused by tannins. Is this tap water? If so, what is the pH of the tap water after it sits out in the air for a few hours?

Straight out of the tap its about 7.5 and I just collected some tap and will test that once it sits for a few hours this afternoon....
Also, its the API tetra test kit.

What chemicals are you adding to the water, as fertilizers, etc.? What is the KH of the water, both in the tank, and tap water? Very low KH will give you a low pH.

I tested the water again innthe afternoon and still got 7.5
I dose PPS-Pro along with weekly GH booster. My kh is around 2 for both my tap and tank water
