Hi i seem to have a problem with my shrimps. They have some white fuzz on their noses or something. But they seem to be fine just grazing and swimming around. Any cause for alertness?
Yes, it can be cause for concern as over time it does start to affect the shrimp. The problem is too since it lives on the exoskeleton of the shrimp, that when they molt, another shrimp goes and eats the molt, and then they get infected with the parasite too. They are actually little worms and looking closely at them, you can see the worms moving. This is my thread on them when I got them, how I tried everything under the sun and then finally the salt dip that cured them all.
