Hello,

I just wanted to share some white CRS NOT golden CRS or Snowballs. I got these from a breeder in Germany and they are awesome!

Cool CRS but my question is how can they be CRS when the R in CRS means red and these guys have no red?

I got some a month ago from Germany as well and they were labeled as being "crystal white shrimp" or "white bee"

it's pretty cool, they have white bands, sort of look like snowball shrimp except when they're pregnant, the eggs are greenish bluish in colour. there's a photo of them on shrimpnow.com in the species description

Are they hardier than CRS? I'm guessing that they got these selectively bred from very low grade CRS? I would prefer snowball shrimp though .

I'm getting some Blue Pearl Snowballs next week from Germany that breed blue, but not a dark blue.

Now THESE should be called ghost shrimp, the FTS with them looks like a bucnh of shrimp spirits.

yo'll probably get some like mine I can say to you that they breed as you say, their color is like the one in my picture, light blue, like the sky.
They breed like rabbit, i like them so much!

What shrimp should not be mixed together with Blue snowballs for inbreeding purpose?

Are we talking about Neocaridina or Caridina here?

Blue pearls are neocardina so don't mix them with cherries, snowballs, yellow, etc.

Gabe great shrimp, Lets hope they breed like rabbits for you. Those white bands are pretty weak though... How much where they?
