Ehh I Just brought a Whisper Power Filter 10 my dad told me it was too small
but i said unless you wanna use more money. So i came home read the manual and it said the filter Intake has to be 1 inch from substrate but mine is 3 inch from it. I will be using eco COmplete It said that if your tank has alot of fish and live planted we recommend a nexxt size filter =\ will this cause a problem in my tank or not? the filter is kina small

or will i be fine with the eco complete

It doesn't really matter what the substrate is. More...how heavy will your bio load be?

Why not get an AquaClear instead? They'll last a lot longer. AC 30. =)

Bio load is the amount of waste your fish will produce and how much the filtration system can handle. With 5-10 Guppies, that filter will be fine. Provided they don't spawn like mad........and they will.

Print out the online Petsmart price and take it to the store. They'll price match it. $14 or so. Awesome little filter the AC 20 is. I love mine.
