you want something a bit course, maybe 20ppi, and have some of polishing floss at the end. The bigger you stage your filters to collect biggest debris to the smallest in that order, the long you don't have to clean anything. Too fine of a foam as the start for the drip tray, it will need to be cleaned a lot more often. My last sump was drip to very coarse foam, then bioballs, through a baffle, into another baffle with probably a 45 or higher ppi foam block in the baffle, so that was the final stage and kept everything clear. Depending on your setup, just try and do coarse at the start, bio media, fine at the end.
