Hi guys my little 30 litre nano is showing some potassium deficiency older leaves are getting holes, my question is which potassium do I dry dose? I have both k2s04 and kn03 in dry form but not sure what to use? I’m dosing tnc complete double dose and excel

my nitrates are probably low as I only 5 tetras and cherry shrimp and a few amanos

Sounds more like a manganese deficiency than a potassium deficiency. Are you dosing micronutrients? I am not familiar with tnc complete.

Hi mark thanks for the reply, oh I was always told holes in leafs was a potassium issue 🙈 I’m still learning I’m not exactly sure what macro or micro is in TNC complete to be honest do you reckon I should go down the EI route?

I'd increase the amount of TNC you are currently dosing. Is your tank heavily planted, or maybe you have fast-growing species?

Not heavily I’d say medium planted mostly stem plants, Christmas moss is doing well I’ve just clicked on your link and read their website you can dose 3x a week I wasn’t aware of this the bottle says once a week on water change so I’ll do 3x a week
