I've never seen a crypt in real life. Except parva. Actually I havent pretty much 99% of aquatic plants in real life, except what petsmart carries. Which can be exciting sometimes, Like when they randomly get cabomba or dwarf hairgrass in. Sometimes a microsword gets thrown in. Anyways..
I need a crypt.. Thats green for the most part, that can be planted in a 5 gallon. And that looks like a nice tightish bundle of java fern. I;m going for that whole, bundle of java fern with driftwood and sand off the the side lowlight tank look...
What crypt would be good for this purpose? Is there another plants that would suit my purpose better?
I thought about Wendtii or Lutea, But am just not sure if they will suit my needs.
Or maybe java fern would do.. I just though it turned huge after time, which is not what I want... The leaves I mean, I'm willing to trim back the bush...

BTW.. this is the sort of look I'm going for. But in a nano.

Any plants that could create this kind of feeling in a 5 gallon would be appreciated...
I also considered Downoi.. But have no idea if that would achieve what I'm doing for..

C. wendtii green would fit the bill, 5 by 5 inches and new plants will form a couple inches away from the roots of the original plant after it is established, you can remove them if it gets too crowded but it's a very slow grower but beautiful plant.

This the C. wendtii red which would aslo be good but it's just a little darker in color with the underside of the leaves being redish in color. This is not my plant or photo.
