Does any1 know what bulbs put out better light

I use the Lights of Americas 6500k ones shaped like the bright bulb and I think it puts out more light because of the U shaped glass. I think the spiral design spreads the light around more. I'm not an expert, but I have read much about the U shaped bulbs being more efficient for planted tank purposes.

thaxs for the info i been using 4x15w bright bulb for a year now and the plants grow very fast, guess ill stick with the U bulbs.
