Hello guys! need some suggestion here, For a 7G tank, which lighting option is better?

a led bulb like this

which is 4w LED, equivalent to about 25W reg bulb, and gives off 5000k in cool white

OR this

13W with 6500K cool white?

I would go with the second option. The LED "incandescent imitation" bulb is made to spread light up an area fairly evenly and will get you less light into the tank, especially if you find a decent reflector for the 13W CFL bulb.

Keep in mind that "equivalent to 25W bulb" means equivalent to a 25W incandescent bulb, which in our planted tank world equals about 6W of usable light (fluorescent equivalent).
