It depends. There are three typical places to put the TDS probes.

On the input before the RO/DI unit. This lets you see what you have coming in.
On the output of the RO section before the DI section. This lets you check that the RO section is working correctly.
On the output of the DI section. This lets you check that the DI section is working and that the DI resin is not exhausted.

I would definitely put one of the probes after the DI section. The other location I use is before the RO/DI unit, because I can see if the input water varies. I did this because for years the town was doing a lot of work on the water system and it could have a lot of dirt and such in the water. If I were doing it now I'd put it between the RO section and the DI section.
