I used to have a place to get ahold of Black Beauty, or black diamond blasting sand in the 20/40 grit. I have lost that information anyone know where I could get ahold of several 50lb bags?

I just redid my 75g with bdbs, you can see it from the link in my sig, and I used about a bag and half or one pound per gallon. Two bags should do it unless you are going really thick. Mine is capping dirt and is about an 1 1/2 thick or so.

I generally have thicker spots of substrate in different areas depending on how I scape the tank. I will just grab 3 bags just in case, and have extra for future scapes lol.

By the by, anyone know what the price was over at Tractor supply? I am going to head that way and only want to bring what I will need lol.

yep, that's the place. I ended up getting it from Tractor supply. There is a Big R near me now as well. I think they carry it as well.
