I have been looking for some of the sands found in ADA tanks, I can only find one site offering it here in the US, but it's close to $30 for a small bag.
I have a freshwater beach close by, but I don't care for how "orange" the sand looks.

I was hoping to find something light in color (not white) but still natural looking.

Anyone have any ideas for a good source?

Most pool & spa supply stores carry and sell pool filter sand that is completely inert, and usually found in a sandy beige color.
Cost is generally under $15 for a 50 lb. bag.
I've been using pool filter sand in all my tanks for years but prefer the white color to anything else.
