I have been keeping fish for around 5 years now. And just about 6 months ago i got blue velvet shrimp. They are in their very own 10 gal tank. I have around 25 in there. So a few days ago i did a water change 30%, declored the water, let it sit for an hour. Now a few days later i cant find more than 4 of them. I dont see any dead bodies though. I had a berried female, and she hasnt dropped her eggs. Did aliens abduct my shrimp or are they all hiding, or dead.....any info would be greatly appreciated ;)

Hi Aquariumnotfishtank,

Unlike fish and plants, inverts do not like large percentage water changes. Much better to change 10% every couple of weeks or 5% weekly than do large water changes. Hopefully they are just hiding.
