I've been wondering if I can recycle higher quality WCed water from the high sensitive shrimp tank(s) like TBs to less sensitive ones like many type of Neocaridina or Tigers.
Let's say:
WCed water from CRS and TB tanks with parameters as: PH=6+ GH=5+ KH=<1 and no other level of Nitrite, Nitrate ... etc, to be used to do WC for other shrimps like Neocaridina ... etc. All I need is to add a bit of water supplements to bring PH up to around 7, and TDS up to around 200+ for WC on Neocaridina tank(s). That's exactly what I have to do with R/O water for WC.
1- To save the life of the R/O membrane.
2- To save water: tap water and R/O water at the same time.
What do you think about this concept?
What's wrong with it?
