looks like the classic saddleback indicative of columnaris

My little oto died from that, i couldn't cure it with anything, and it lasted for at least a month before he died. Luckily it ever spread to any of my other fish though.

Its possible, but it didn't happen in my case, the rest of the fish were fine and not displaying a single symptom.
I would take him out and put him in a quarantine tank just to make sure though.

Well I cureently don't have any other tanks available right now. Would placing it in a bucket of tank water work? And maybe just change the water every other day?

I think this is also happening with my bristle-nose, do only certain fish get this?

Maybe just with suckerfish? Or fish with scales like ottos?

Edit-just looked it up and it says that it's common with catfish....
