Hey guys whats up,
just joined today so I thought I’d do a quick intro...just got into the hobby about a year ago when I got my first YBS Bowser, and have been dreaming of awesome tank builds since. I havnt had the money or knowledge to carry out my ideas but as i get more into this world the more I learn and the more I want to build! I have only been plantig my tanks for a couple months and only have experience with anacharis (for the turtles) and dwarf hairgrass as of the last couple days. Would love to plant some more stuff and find some plants my turtles will leave alone if anyone has any ideas. So I just wanted to say hello and yea haha heres some pics of my tanks as of now: first pic is my 20g where ives planted, then my 40g with the turtles, gouramis, sharks, corys and crawfish with the basking dock i built and my 10g thats under construction for my baby mud turtle

I’m in Orlando if you would like to pick up. I can also ship it to you for $10 with a cold pack and insulation. Will survive the one day trip for sure.

I go to Orlando often, do you have anymore shrimps?

Bump:

We are in Saint Petersburg. Our tanks are about to be re-scape'd so by no means are these out "ta-da" pics, just where they are at now. They are transitioning over from low tech to high and some new species will be introduced and some things need to be cut back. Right now they are jungles. But it's not always about the destination but rather the journey. Always a work in progress.
I'm also in St.Pete, used to have fresh water fish only, then moved to salt water, didn't have time to keep up with all the maintenance so retired from the hobby. Just now got back into fresh water, trying out planted tank stuff. Just set up my nano tank about a week ago, hopefully I can learn from all the great minds here.

Hey all, I'm in Orlando, have 3 planted tanks at the moment. The good thing about being in Florida is that I've been able scavenge most of the plants in my tanks from local streams. Even caught some wild sailfin mollies from a ditch that was being turned into a drainage pipe at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. I re-homed most of them but kept three to live with my betta sorority with whom they get along swimmingly. Anyways here's my 30 gallon:

I am in Maitland (north side of Orlando). About to set up a 40 gal breeder. I just have the tank at the moment. $50 at Petco. On Saturday, I plan to buy light, filter, substrate, supplies and starter plants to get cycle going at Fishy Business in Longwood.

Planning to pretty much go with what they recommend. Any thoughts would be welcome.

Just moving into the Ft Walton Beach area from SC. Always happy to establish exchange theory with folks in the area and also looking for any advice on good freshwater LFSs within reasonable distance. So far only found Bluewater Zoo here in Walton/Destin area and have a lead on store in Pensacola that seems promising. Any thoughts or advice welcome. House hunting now and my 120g and 30g shrimp/snail tank are fragged to move early January once we've settled on a place.

Feel free to message me if you're close by and a freshwater enthusiast. Looking to get into marine eventually but gotta get settled and recover $ from the move first.
