Whats this deficiency?

Hey guys, as far as I can tell my parameters are good but.... I just picked up this guy and a few others a few days ago. He was all green when I picked him up. The bottom leaves are still green but the top is turning kinda pale and red? The rest of the tank is doing fine.

Was it submerged when you bought it?

Yes, it was submerged and I am also sorry. I can't even ID it.

hey

I could be mistaken, but that looks like a type of Rotala Macrandra, and it is quite normal for it to pink up under proper light. Some of them will even develop a deep red tone.

It is likely iron deficient. Pale new growth is the sign of a lack of iron.
