I have a 29 that I'm goin to be starting up within the next couple of weeks, But the one thing I'm stuck on is what lights I'm supposed to use. I have a ton of left over dwarf sag from a tank i got rid of so im looking for a nice lush carpet in front and I'll probably go with some hygrophilas in the back. I will also be pumping in some DIY co2. So now comes the lighting question, I do have a some led flood lights laying around from a previous tank so those might me an option or should of I use something like a metal halide to try and get a a good carpet going.

I'm trying to figure this out too for my 29 Gallon tank.

Currently using a Hygger 48W LED but I'm not sure if it's strong enough.

Does anyone have any thoughts? My HC are not growing very well
