Is it green water or cloudy?
What's my best option?
I have a 5 gallon tank with two shrimp and a snail, live plants for oxygen. The shrimp and snail eat the algae and I don't have to feed them. The tank has a natural cycle for the nitrates etc. The creatures are happy but my water is murky due to algae. How can I filter the algae out of the water itself yet leave the nitrate cycle alone and still have alae for the shrimp to eat? I just want to improve water clarity. TIA

Large water change and add a filter.
Been doing water changes but cant seem to keep up. Which filter would you recommend for my size tank and whatnot? Where would you buy it?
