I have a 46 gallon bow front. With one 36 inch coralife t5NO and one 24 inch coralife T5NO. Both contain two bulbs one 10K and on 6,700 K. The tank has an assortment of javafern, will hygro, anubias, crypts for the most part. Initially the tank was doing pretty well with random flourish dosing for a whle. I changed over to EI dosing which I do very consistently. Since then the tank has seemed to have gone down hill. I went through a phase of blue green algae then hair algea then diatoms and now I have diatoms and hair algea. It also really looks like my plants have thinned out a lot.
PH 76
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate ~20
Photoperiod 8hrs, but tank is near a large window
Tank is stocked with Ruby red spilo piranha and nerite snails

Would appreciate input. I was thinking about going to upgrade to CO2, but now with the tank going south not so sure.
