Okay so I have a 29 gallon tank set up and someone in the tank is chowing down on my plants because my bacopa did not have a huge chunk out of it last night here is the stocking list (pretty heavy stock)

Fish:
10 ghost shrimp (I think)
6 guppies
6 neon tetras
4 snow white danios ( i don't know if that's their common name that's just what they were labeled as)
3 albino cherry Barb's
2 corydoras
1 peacock gudgeon
1 oto cat
1 Bolivian ram
1 snail

Flora:
Amazon sword
Baby tears regular
Dwarf hairgrass
Ludwigia repens
Java moss
Combomba
Bacopa caroliniana
And a marimo moss ball

your stocking is messed up first and foremost, corys need a group of six or more, barbs (im pretty sure this applies to all, could be mistaken forgive me) need also the same group number of six plus I think, what type of "snail?" oto cats need a good school, and yea theres your stocking mistakes.
But what type of snail.
Thank you. I'm aware of them needing larger groups. I took the last of the otos and the Cory's and the Barbs I was just kind of testing them out in my tank I also need to get more Bolivians because I ordered them in and they all died before I picked them up except one. And the snail I have no clue the fish store said they would just give it to me for free

your really over-the-top with your stocking as is, get 2 more otos (total of 3 or 5) or so, remove corys, remove barbs, replace with some small schooling fish you'll like say tetras or WCMM
I have found in my tank (Discus, Cories, Rummys, BN Plecos, Pictus) that if they don't think I fed them enough, they snack on new leaf growth from aponogotons and other bulb type plants. I have a suspicion the culprits are the discus. However, I could be completely wrong and it could be a combination. I've recently ran out of algae wafers so, I imagine they are getting "roughage" from the new plants. Maybe start feeding a frozen veggie mix (hikari has one I think) or algae wafers or blanched veggies and see if plant snacking eases up.

Yeah. The guppies are the ones picking at the plants so they're going to have to go unfortunately. That's probably why the baby tears aren't doing so hot. But I think I'll take the cherry Barb's and the guppies back get 3 more Bolivians and 5-6 more neon tetras
