well i got an order from a member here and this plant was inside with the package and i am not sure what it is... its not hornworts as they would have space between each nodes... so what is it?

Hornwort has space between the nodes.....I've never seen it more compact than that

Low light, lower temps or nutrients will reduce the spacing.

Hit that with some excel and see if it survives. If it doesn't, its hornwort

It's probably C. demersum or C. echinatum. Tropical hornwort is a name applied to a plant from Peru and elsewhere, but that isn't what's pictured in that entry, which is also probably one of the former. I think I can dig up a submersum photo later.
