I don't have a heater in the tank, so the tank is at whatever the room temperature is. About 65 - 70 in the winter, up to 75 - 78 in the summer.

76. I use a heater because I keep them with RCS. Hope I helped.
I keep my heater set at around 72 just in case to keep them at a steady temp...
The ideal temperature is 72 F in my experience with CRS and CBS.
72.5 is my preferred number.

I try to keep mine at 72, but in the summer some of my tanks hit 80.
My CRS tank that Im setting up now I plan on keeping it around 71-73.
I think any of the temps listed would be OK for CRS. I keep mine at 75-75 during the summer and they do just fine.
