I have a 2 gallon planted shrimp nano. I have anubias and weeping moss in the tank. I plan on throwing in some neo's. I have a Hydor UG heater adn the tank is around 80'.
What is the desirable temp for inverts and moss?

Moss and inverts like it less than 80. Neo's do ok in 80 but cooler is better. Ideal, probably 72ish but they can live from 50-85 I've seen reports of.

my tanks with moss/shrimp are kept at about 74/75-ish. everything seems to be growing fine and shrimp/fish are doing well

I set the heaters on my tanks at 68. Opae Ula at 78.

No need for a heater unless your ambient room temperature drops below 60, really.

That's ideal for most shrimp and many fish.

Though, in a 2gal tank? I wouldn't keep any fish. Shrimp and snails only.

I've never had to put a heater in my shrimp tank before (and the shrimps are breeding just fine). I'm more concerned about whether a chiller is needed at times rather than a heater.

OK, sounds like Im gonna remove my little hydor heater. Im only gonna keep shrimp and snails. Was considering a few pygmy cory's though. The footprint to thet ank is 12x6.

Ok, sopunds good. I have 20 albino pygmys in my 150g and some are so small they are the size of a tic tac. But I know theyll grow. Any suggestions as to online shrimp retailers?
