My LFS can't tell my what sex my ram is.

Same link I posted. Question, zoea: I got the info I used to guesstimate from that link, and I thought that because of the fin rays and the dot coloration it was a female. Where did I make my mistake?

Here is the tank-mate. So you are saying this one is female?

in both pic it looks like male, female have orange/red color on their belly.

Because the fish he originally posted doesn't have black pelvic fins. Females do. So that one is male. It looks very close to my breeding male as well.

They do both appear to be male but I question the irridescent blue sheen on the black which can mean female but as happi said females have pink/orange/red bellies. I would have to say they are both males.
